Peace in The Storm of Covid-19

We are praying for you!

I thank God for the generous and hard-working partners of Builders International.

This Covid-19 crisis is causing a huge uproar…churches not able to meet, businesses not able to operate, employees not allowed to work.

Yet for a few, in the “essential business” sector, this is a season of non-stop, over-the-top demand. The medical professionals, food supply, truck drivers, police and emergency services.

We are praying for you, whichever side of this uproar you are facing!

One thing I know…those within our Builders community are the kind of people who respond to crisis, who have a heart, who get involved and rise to the occasion and help when it is needed. This gives me hope!

Above all, I hope you walk this season with peace, knowing God is on the throne and “in all things God works for the good of those who love Him and are called according to his purpose.” (Rom 8:28)

That’s you!

With all the chaos and uncertainty, remember…this too shall pass!

What does this mean for Builders International?

We care about the safety and well being of our partners…those who generously give, go and work hard, as well as the missionary and national church partners we stand beside.

So…we are taking this very seriously!

All March and April teams are being rescheduled.

May teams are being looked at one-by-one.

We are contacting each missionary partner to be aware of the situation in each county.

Make some lemonade!

This is a major disturbance for everyone…for many, it has freed up time, others it has pushed you over the top.

Either way, the question we are asking at Builders International, as we work in combination from home and the Builders office…

What does this make possible?

I would encourage you to take a moment, reflect on this crisis, and ask yourself…what does this make possible?

  1. If you have time now freed up…what are you going to do with it?
  2. If you have a boatload of business and overtime…how are you going to care for yourself and your family?
  3. If others need help around you…how can you help?

I pray that you find encouragement and peace in the chaos!

And even in the face of crisis…

Let’s build hope,

Ryan Moore
