Mission Trips and More Mission Trips!

This week is bustling with mission trips around the world…FOUR to be exact! We have four teams in four different countries this week alone!

Our first team is made up of 13 members who are taking a family mission trip to Costa Rica, led by Builders International missionaries, Jeremy and Faith Godwin, along with their three sons! They are with missionaries, Jon and Jennifer Dahlager, working on a ChildHope School and leading children’s ministry. Parents and kids get the opportunity to work and adventure alongside each other. The kids on this mission trip range in ages from 7-16!

Our friend, Scott Marcum, from Alabama, is leading a trip with a missions team of 14 from Dothan Assembly of God in Guatemala. They are working on Berea ChildHope School in Zacapa with missionaries Daren and Heidi Walker.

New Life Assembly of God in Grand Ledge, Michigan, is taking a trip with a missions team of 11, led by Johan Borgstrom, working on a church in Altagracia, Dominican Republic with missionary Mitch Martinez.

A team of 22 from New Life Church in Renton, Washington, led by Bert Fields, and HighRidge Church in Fort Worth, Texas, led by Aaron Utter, along with BuildStrong and Q Missions are taking a trip to Brazil this week, building a church along the Amazon River. This team is also distributing water filters to the local community!

It’s exciting to see all the progress taking place around the world in any given week. missions team members are building places where people find hope!

The Impact of a Mission Trip

Also, it is so uplifting to know that the work carried out by these hard-working individuals will make an impact in four communities for generations to come. Many will now have a place where they will be able to worship Jesus Christ, and many will forever be impacted because of the work God did in their life while on their mission trip.
