Can't Stop, Won't Stop!

The Builders community was poised to have a record-setting year!

Teams were already on the ground in the Bahamas, Chile, Honduras, Mexico, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Panama, and Nepal between January and March this year. Progress was being made on projects around the world.

Thanks to YOU, a community of generous givers and volunteers, an additional 45 teams were scheduled for 2020. That is double the amount of our 2019 mission teams!

We were looking at the biggest year ever.

And then…COVID-19!

The world turned upside down, wreaking havoc on economies, churches, businesses, jobs…the entire world.

Suddenly, no one is traveling. Borders are closed. Martial law was instituted in many countries. Most international construction work has been shut down. Add to that the uncertainty of when borders and travel will open back up and all of the sudden our missionary partners are facing a huge challenge!

This unforeseen pandemic halted the travel plans of our army of goers and put a stop to the corresponding team project funds.

How can the work continue?

No travel means no mission teams and a huge drop in project funding.

But YOU are an unstoppable community!

God has provided a clear vision of how to continue His work and multiply blessings to the people we all seek to serve.

Faithful missionaries that remain at their posts and our trusted national church partners where projects are located are ready and excited to step up and continue the construction within their local communities!

We just need to provide them the financial hand-up to make this happen. As the COVID-19 shutdowns are lifted, work can continue in each country with local labor when project funding is available.

Since construction materials are typically purchased locally to support the communities and reduce shipping costs, supply chains are NOT a factor.

Your DNA won’t let you quit. I love this fact about the Builders community…you won’t sit still when there is work to be done! You won’t ignore the challenge to finish the job!

Builders team leader John Connally said it best to me on a phone call this week, “I don’t want to be dormant this year!”

As the pandemic spreads, so must the work of the church.

Without the opportunity to send teams in the coming months, your giving can keep projects moving forward

Your giving has never been more needed.

WE NEED YOUR HELP ensuring the projected $220,000 in project funding and support makes its way to the vital needs of the Bahamas, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Panama, Cuba, Honduras, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Mexico, El Salvador….so the work can go on

While America has experienced some relief from the CARES Act and Paycheck Protection Program…our friends and partners around the world have not received help during this challenging time.

Your action is needed to ensure these missionary partners and vital projects continue to move forward!

Jesus said, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18b

This passionate community is invested in building churches, Bible schools, and grade schools around the world where people find HOPE.

COVID-19 will not prevail! With God’s help and your generosity, the Builders community will continue to BUILD!

We will BUILD churches where people find hope.

We will BUILD Bible schools to equip and empower leaders.

We will BUILD grade schools to educate the next generation.

Throughout history, God has miraculously shown up and showed off during times of perceived hopelessness. God has now provided us all the opportunity to keep the momentum going and be the positive light in this very dark time.

Although YOU cannot physically go to build hope until the world opens for safe travel again, YOU are still able to do a huge part.

To keep the momentum going please do your part to “move the needle” and Give Now so 2020 will have an enormously positive hope-giving impact.

If we quit now: communities will be left with unfinished projects and hopelessness

The impact of the church increases in the midst of a global health crisis!
