Better Together

We all just came through a wonderful season of celebrating the birth of Christ, and in some way or another, we have all celebrated our Savior with something sweet. Like a good ol’ Christmas cookie! None of us at Builders are professional bakers, but there are a few things that we know for sure. Virtually all of the ingredients of a cookie are good on their own. Things like flour, sugar, eggs, and butter. Yet when those individual ingredients are brought together, what evolves is something that is probably making your mouth water even now. Why? Because the ingredients are always better together!

This simple principle is the same everywhere you look, especially when it comes to the Kingdom and the unique resources that the Lord has already placed in your hands. A fun word to describe this beautiful picture is the word “synergy.” Synergy is defined as the cooperation of two or more organizations, substances, or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects. In other words, we are better together!

Recently a divine opportunity to partner with the Alabama District, a special missionary in southern Asia, and a Bible school construction project came together with Builders playing the unique role of networking all these elements together. What came from this synergetic picture is as the Bible describes as “greater than we can ask or even imagine.” In fact, you can watch a great video showing just what it looked like below…

So the question is, who would the Lord have you partner with, in your sphere of influence to create the kind of synergy that echoes into eternity?
