Builders International has teamed up with Adventure Mission International to create a unique travel package. Combining a big-game safari and ministry church build project all in one travel adventure package. This experience is sure to be exciting and offer a powerful ministry opportunity exclusively for you. The comfort of the lodges, experienced and seasoned guides and the thousands of acres of Mopani woodlands with scattered granite kopje’s ensuring a memorable hunting experience.
The area is well managed and has first-class facilities, making it suitable for the serious hunter as well as family groups that would like to mix hunting with sightseeing and relaxing. For non-hunters there are wonderful viewing trips, horse riding safaris, viewing of rock paintings, and excellent fishing within the concession including large mouth bass. Additionally, teaming up with missionary Larry Allen in Bulawayo with a church build ready to go ensures a unique experience working alongside the nationals in a local village.
THE EXPERIENCE: Travel with professional adventure safari host Frank Cole. Frank has planned and led multiple Cabela’s Outdoor Adventure trips around the globe including personally visiting our camp and outfitter. You will experience a first class 7-day spot and stalk plains game hunt in Zimbabwe’s famous Save Conservancy, with professional hunting guides who follow strict ethical standards. Followed by a two-day hands on church build outside of Bulawayo, where you will leave a lasting imprint that will impact this poor rural community in Zimbabwe for many years to come. Meeting, hunting with, and working along side the locals in this incredible third-world country will no doubt leave a permanent mark on your heart!
Plains game hunting will take place within The Save Valley Conservancy which is one of the largest private gamer reserves in Africa. Created in 1991 and located in the South Eastern lowveld of Zimbabwe, bordering on the Save River on its eastern side, the Conservancy comprises 750,000 total acres (we will be hunting a portion of this) of diverse wildlife habitat. The Save is home to the Dangerous Seven: Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Cape Buffalo, Croc, Hippo, and Rhino game and over 300 species of birds. All which roam one-hundred percent naturally in the plains.
There is a wide range of plains game found within the conservancy including: Sable, Baboon, Bushbuck, Eland, Giraffe, Impala, Honey badger, Kudu, Nyala, Wildebeest, Warthog, and Zebra which are strictly managed on a quota basis.
This is big and vast wild Africa unlike what you’ve seen on television. Hunters will go afield with their experienced PH and trackers via safari vehicle and once tracks or game have been spotted, the hunt will start on foot.
