Finding Faith and Family in the Midst of War.
When war erupted in Ukraine, Sergey’s world changed overnight. His home sat beside a military installation—one of the first targets when the bombing began. Within days, he was forced to make the heartbreaking decision to send his wife and daughter to safety in Poland while he stayed behind, holding on to hope that peace would return soon.
But days turned into months, and months into a year. As the conflict dragged on, Sergey remained alone, waiting for a sign that it was time to reunite with his family. That sign came through a revelation his wife received—confirmation that he needed to leave. Because of his disability, Sergey was released from military obligation, and by the end of 2022, he finally joined his family in Poland.
For nearly two and a half years of turmoil and uncertainty in their home country, Sergey’s family found refuge at the Katowice Ukraine Refugee Center in Poland, built through the efforts of the Builders International community of teams and giving partners! What began as a construction project became a lifeline for families like Sergey’s—a safe place to rebuild their lives. The center provided more than a roof over their heads; it offered stability, community, and hope. “We had warm beds, hot water, food, and the support of others who shared our story,” Sergey says. “But beyond that, we found people who truly cared. We became a family.”
The refugee center also became a place of faith and restoration. Through Christian gatherings, baptisms, kids’ camps, and Bible studies, Sergey and his family found renewed spiritual strength. What began as a shelter became a place where faith flourished and hearts were healed.
Sergey knows that this refuge was made possible by the hands and hearts of many people who gave, prayed, and worked to make this vision a reality. “Your support has blessed us not just materially but spiritually,” he says. “You made us feel like we matter. Almost daily, my wife and I thank the Lord for you. What you’re doing is big—very big—and through it, God is glorified.”

Concrete block in the main sanctuary, classrooms, and offices is finished. Now finishing the lobby area. The roof should go on by the end of the month, then the windows and wall plastering. Scheduling teams now!

Belgium - Continental Theological Seminary - Phase 2
Chile - Santiago Children’s Ministry Center
Work continues on the ministry center with the help of many teams! Basic structural work on the first floor of the education wing is now complete. Now scheduling teams to get the second story up, with the goal of completing the building in 2026.

Floor foundations for all four dorm buildings is complete. Teams are currently being scheduled for 2026 to work on dorms and staff housing.
El Salvador - Marriage & Family Counseling Center
Currently scheduling teams to work on the large entry that encompasses a kitchen and dining hall area.
France - Beauvais Church
Teams are currently scheduling for 2026.
France - Multiple Church Project
Several projects are moving forward as funding is disbursed. Teams are currently scheduling for 2026.
Germany - Haus Antioch Ministry Center
Putting final touches on the project.
Germany - Black Forest Academy
Honduras - Honduras Bible School
New wing of dorms completely finished and furnished. This new wing will be essential for the new residential program that will house young men and women next semester. The next phase is underway, which is the library and school offices. Teams are being scheduled for 2026.

Honduras - Jehovah Jireh Church
FINISHED! Construction is complete, and the church is now reaching the community with the hope of Jesus!
India - Calcutta Mercy Hospital
Funds continue to be received for this vital remodel project.
Israel - Jerusalem School Bethlehem
Students are thrilled to see progress on the construction of their new school.
Kosovo - The Hope Center
Finalizing project – already being used for God’s glory!
Mexico - Restoration of Life Church

Nicaragua - Casa de Mi Gloria - Managua Campus
Foundation work is finished! The column has been set to support a 7-story cross that will stand as a beacon of hope to the city of Managua. Funding is needed for the steel superstructure that will go up next. Teams are currently being scheduled for 2026.
Nicaragua - Casa de Mi Gloria - Tipitapa
Still needs construction. Scheduling teams now for 2026.
Panama - Panama 100
Four churches were completed by teams in 2025. Teams are currently being scheduled for 2026.
Poland - 700 Cities Training Center
Construction is progressing well. Teams are currently being scheduled for 2026.
Scotland - Bridge Family Church
The first phase is complete and in use, which includes the cafe, office share rental, kids room, prayer room, bathrooms, and offices! The next phase of completing exterior landscaping and gathering space is ready to begin.
Serbia - Crossroads Rehabilitation Center
Finished, dedicated, and in use for the glory of God!
Slovakia - Kendice Church
This project is approximately 98% complete. A sidewalk still needs to be added along with tile steps and a landing at the entrance of the church, along with some parking area and yard work.
Spain - Project Rescue Safe House - Melilla
Construction is finishing now with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for this month! Some funding still needed for completion.
Spain - Barcelona International Church
Teams have been pivotal in the demolition process. Currently scheduling teams for 2026.
Spain - Mallorca Christian Center
Construction complete, but funding still needed!
Spain - The Garden: Missionary Respite House
Finishing touches are being put on the project, and it is almost ready for ribbon-cutting.
Taiwan - Agape Church Plant - Zhunan
FINISHED!! This church is reaching the lost with the hope of the Gospel!!
Ukraine - Hope in Action Medical Ministry Center
Construction is underway, and the project will advance as funding is available
Ukraine War Reconstruction - Phase One
Funds are continually being sent to help rebuild churches across Ukraine.
Uruguay - Hope for Uruguay 100
Twenty-six churches completed, dedicated, and in use! Teams begin after missionaries return to the country from itineration soon.
Vanuatu - Tanna Mission Center
The first student family bungalow is complete, and the wash house is ready for fixtures. The mission house is ready for finish work and the training side is now ready for the roof structure. Now working to finish the ministry training center. Funding and teams are needed to help this project cross the finish line.
